Nurse Declared Prime Suspect in Mohbad’s Death by Police

In a significant development, the Lagos State Police Command has officially declared the nurse who provided medical treatment to Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, widely recognized as Mohbad, as the “prime suspect” in his unfortunate passing. This crucial revelation emerged during a press briefing held in Lagos State, where the police provided updates on the ongoing investigation to unravel the circumstances surrounding the singer’s death.

Commissioner of Police Idowu Owohunwa, Lagos Police Commissioner, disclosed that while the autopsy results on the deceased are still pending, the investigation team has made significant progress toward reaching a conclusive understanding of the case.

According to the command, the investigative team, through diligent efforts, uncovered evidence suggesting that the nurse who had administered various medications, including intravenous injection, had exceeded her professional boundaries. These actions, whether directly or indirectly, are believed to have contributed to the singer’s tragic demise. As a result, the command has officially designated her as the prime suspect in the ongoing investigation.

In related developments, Primeboy, a close associate of Mohbad, recently refuted claims made by the Lagos Police Command that he had failed to respond to their invitation regarding the singer’s death. Following his declaration as a wanted individual and placing a N1 million bounty on him, Primeboy voluntarily surrendered himself for investigation less than 24 hours later and was taken into police custody.
