Manchester United winger Antony is facing further scrutiny as revelations from the driver of his ex-girlfriend, Gabriela Cavallin, shed light on his behaviour during their relationship. The chauffeur has disclosed that Antony exhibited possessive tendencies, including demanding access to Gabriela’s phone.
Amidst severe allegations of physical assault by Gabriela against the Brazilian footballer, the situation has escalated. Gabriela, a 22-year-old Brazilian influencer and DJ has reported Antony to authorities in both Brazil and England, accusing him of assault during their two-year relationship.
According to Gabriela, Antony resorted to physical violence, including punching and headbutting her and threatening to crash their car when she attempted to end their relationship. She has shared a series of evidence on social media to support her claims, and two other women have also come forward alleging abuse by Antony.
Antony is currently on paid leave to address these allegations, and Manchester United has stated that they are investigating the matter. Antony has denied all accusations.
Gabriela’s driver, who has been cooperating with investigators, provided additional insights into the relationship. He recalled an incident when he was asked to pick up Antony from the airport after a game involving the Brazilian national team. During the ride, he overheard Antony insisting on going through Gabriela’s text messages to check her contacts.
On another occasion, the driver received an “SOS message” from Gabriela, who was at an exclusive residence outside Sao Paulo, Brazil. Gabriela reportedly shouted, “Antony is hitting me.”
Upon reaching the location, Antony contacted the driver and urged him to retrieve Gabriela, saying, “Sandro, come and get Gabi before I do something.” The driver noted that Gabriela’s left arm and face showed signs of redness.
Tragically, the alleged attack occurred while Gabriela was pregnant with Antony’s child, resulting in a miscarriage.
