Lieutenant General Farouk Yahaya has lauded officers and soldiers of the Nigerian Army for their excellent conduct during the Presidential and the National Assembly elections held on the 25th of last month.
General Yahaya stated this at the inauguration of newly constructed classrooms, offices and students’ accommodations for the Nigerian Army School of Finance and Administration (NASFA), Lagos.
The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Farouk Yahaya, said the high professional standards exhibited by military personnel provided a safe and conducive environment during the elections, charging them to maintain the tempo in this Saturday’s polls.

General Yahaya said the training was crucial for professional conduct in the Nigerian Army; he was always happy to be in any of the schools and training institutions, as well-trained and administered troops in high spirits could only achieve professionalism.
He promised to continue to ensure realistic and mission-oriented training towards building professional standards in the Nigerian Army. The Chief of Account and Budget, Nigerian Army, Major General Adetokunboh Fayemiwo The Nigerian Army was blessed to have a transformational and pragmatic leader at the helm of its affairs.
The army chief also inaugurated the Radio-diagnostic Center, 68 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital Yaba. In addition, the Remodelling, Renovation and Furnishing of Alafia Oluwa Primary School, Mushin, was done by his representative, Major General Adeyemi Yekini.
