The Kebbi state Police Command, has assured the public of rancour free Governorship and House of Assembly elections coming Saturday.

The Commissioner of Police for the Governorship and House of Assembly elections for the state, Abubakar Lawal Daura, gave the assurance while addressing the joint Police, Military and Para-Miltary patron team of the state.

CP Lawal Daura, said the patrón team that compro sed of the Police as the lead, Military, DSS, Customs, Immigration, NDLEA, Prisons Service and the FRSC are ready dealth with any political group or individual that could course coas during election across the state.

While commending the team in the last Presidential and National Assembly elections for their efforts in seeing a hitch free elections, CP Daura urged them to do maintain the tempo in next coming Saturday’s elections.

He urged security personnel deployed for the coming elections to observe and respect human rights while on duty.

The CP however called on the public to come out and exercise their civic responsibility as security has been put in place to ensure their safety.
