SPEAKERS FOR THE SECOND PLENARY SESSION

We are delighted to announce the speakers for our upcoming 4th Annual General Conference and International Women’s Day Event happening live in Lagos on Thursday, 21st & Friday, 22nd March 2024, at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria, with the theme ‘Beyond the Balance Sheet: Redefining Success for Women in Law’.

In our second plenary session, ‘Growing Your Business: What to Know About People and Financial Management,’ Kofo Dosekun, George Etomi, Oluwatosin Olasehinde, and Bimpe Gisanrin will speak.

Kofo Dosekun is the Chairman of Aluko & Oyebode’s management board and leads the firm’s corporate and commercial, banking, and corporate finance practices. She advises on financing and commercial transactions, including project finance, cross-border and local syndicated lending, private equity, energy, public-private partnerships, and structured trade finance.

George Etomi is the principal partner of the law firm George Etomi and Partners and a distinguished transaction lawyer with over 41 years of experience in the legal profession. He is one of Nigeria’s most transformative attorneys. He has championed law and bar development initiatives and garnered a wealth of experience in diverse areas of commercial law, including various commercial transactions.

Oluwatosin Olasehinde is the Founder of Money Africa. She inspires a new generation to work hard towards a financially secure future. She is a chartered accountant with 10 years of experience in accounting, corporate finance, auditing, and taxation. She has worked with several multinationals. Money Africa is a personal finance platform that teaches people to develop healthy financial habits, reduce unnecessary expenses, and generate multiple income streams.

Bimpe Gisanrin is the Unit Head of Women’s Banking at Access Bank Plc. She is a seasoned and skilled Gender Specialist with over 18 years of professional experience and a proven track record of success in ensuring women’s financial and economic inclusion in Africa. With a rich history in the banking industry, she excels in bridging the gaps for women to excel in their chosen fields through the award-winning W Initiative at Access Bank Plc.

The panel will be moderated by Soibi Ovia, Partner Duale, Ovia & Alex-Adedipe. Soibi is a litigation and Dispute Resolution Lawyer based in Lagos, Nigeria, who heads the Dispute Resolution Practice Group at Duale, Ovia & Alex-Adedipe.

This session will enlighten the audience on two essential aspects of business management which will ultimately lead to overall success and growth.
