ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE NBA-NATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE GIFSHIP PROGRAMME

The NBA-NHIA GIFSHIP is a Group, Individual and Family Social Insurance Programme that allows members of the Association who are in good standing (i.e. the payment of Bar Practicing Fees and Branch dues as and when due) enjoy 100% access to Primary, Secondary with just 10% charge on the cost of drugs, and about 50% cost of Tertiary healthcare services across the NHIS Accredited healthcare facilities at an affordable rate of Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15,000.00) per subscriber annually.

The Scheme also permits eligible members to register their dependants, friends, and family members under their coverage for the premium rate N15,000 per subscriber. The scheme currently has about a thousand five hundred lawyers enjoying healthcare services nationwide, with more registrations ongoing.

Interested members can access the NBA-NHIA services by filling out the customized forms, making the payment of Fifteen Thousand Naira (per subscriber) into the designated account, and attaching the evidence of the same, which should be forwarded to:

Please note that submission to the NHIA is every month, and upon submission to the NHIA, the waiting period for enrolling beneficiaries is 90 days.
