Recently, renowned legal luminary Mallam Yusuf Olaolu Ali SAN, known as the “grandfather of the bar,” a distinguished life bencher and accomplished scholar, paid a courtesy visit to the office of Mr. Yakubu Chonoko Maikyau OON, SAN, the President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).

Accompanied by his esteemed colleague, Prof Adebayo Oba Adelodun SAN, also a life bencher and respected member of the NBA’s National Executive Council, Mallam Ali embarked on this visit to appraise President Maikyau’s dynamic leadership style and commendable initiatives.

As an Associate Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, University of Ilorin, Mallam Ali imparts invaluable knowledge and expertise to the next generation of legal practitioners. His authorship of seminal works, including “Anatomy of Corruption in Nigeria,” underlines his commitment to addressing pressing legal issues and fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.

Additionally, Mallam Ali currently chairs the NBA Flood Disaster Relief Committee, demonstrating his relentless dedication to serving the legal community and mitigating the impact of natural disasters on its members.
