Thirteen graduates from the Faculty of Law at Benson Idahosa University have achieved remarkable success in the 2023 Nigerian Law School Bar examination, securing first-class honours. The results, announced on February 14, 2024, revealed these graduates’ outstanding performance, reflecting the university’s rigorous academic standards and quality education.

BIU’s Head of Communication, Temi Esonamunjor, shared the news, highlighting the exceptional academic prowess displayed by the university’s law students. Of the 5,308 candidates who sat for the examination nationwide, only 251 individuals attained first-class honours, making this accomplishment particularly noteworthy.

Acting Vice Chancellor, Professor Johnson Oyedeji, expressed profound joy and gratitude on behalf of the university’s management and Senate, commending the exceptional dedication and intellect demonstrated by the successful graduates. He attributed their success to the professionalism, academic resources, and ethical standards upheld by the university.
