Dear Esteemed Members of the Nigerian Bar Association, Young Lawyers Forum, Makurdi Branch.

I extend my sincere gratitude to the Nigerian Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Forum, Makurdi Branch, on the occasion of the 2024 Summit, which was centred around the central theme of “Reawakening the Ethics of the Legal Profession.” It is indeed an honour to witness the legal community’s commitment towards upholding the highest standards of professional ethics.

As we gather from the 24th to the 25th of February, 2024, I anticipate enriching discussions, insightful presentations, and collaborative efforts to fortify the ethical foundation of our legal practice. This summit provides a platform for knowledge-sharing and reinforces our collective responsibility to uphold the integrity of the legal profession.

May this event serve as a catalyst for positive change and inspire the next generation of lawyers to embrace ethical principles. I look forward to engaging with fellow members and contributing to the collective reawakening of the moral values that define our noble profession.
