NBA President Delivers Opening Remarks at NBA Garki Branch 2023 Law Week

During the event, the NBA President delivered an inspiring address, commending the Attorney General of Lagos State for his unwavering dedication and exemplary service to his office. The President underscored the AG’s pivotal role in upholding the highest standards of professionalism and urged others to follow his lead.

Furthermore, the President took the opportunity to laud the remarkable achievements of the Liberty Branch, recognizing their ongoing dedication to excellence. He encouraged them to persist in their commitment to outstanding performance and challenged all other branches, emphasizing their pivotal role in promoting growth and development within the legal community.

He also recognized the presence of senior advocates in attendance, the Grand Khadi, the Chief Registrar of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, and the Chairmen of the various branches present.

Maikyau expressed his gratitude to the Chairman of the conference’s planning committee and mentioned prominent senior advocates like Mazi Afam Osigwe, Samuel Somiari, Chukwuka Ikwuazom, and others present.

The NBA President praised the Liberty branch, a young branch that organized the event. He emphasized the importance of liberty in various aspects of national life and commended the new branch for its efforts.

Maikyau concluded by acknowledging the keynote speaker, Moyo Onigbanjo, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and former Attorney General of Lagos State.
