Amidst the legal proceedings surrounding the case of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), a significant development has emerged. Despite an earlier discharge and acquittal by the Appeal Court on charges of terrorism, the Supreme Court’s ruling in December 2023 reversed the decision, necessitating a continuation of the Abuja Federal High Court trial.
