NBA Ikere-Ekiti Branch Distributes Customized 2024 Lawyers’ Diary

The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Ikere-Ekiti Branch is gearing up to distribute the 2024 edition of its customized Lawyers’ Diaries to all its financial members. The Branch Chairman, Asiwaju Dr. Michael Afolayan, announced this development during an address to members on Friday in Ado Ekiti.
Dr. Afolayan expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve as the 5th Chairman of the NBA Ikere-Ekiti Branch and highlighted the Branch’s growth and accomplishments. He emphasized the significance of the customized Lawyers’ Diaries, noting that they are an improvement over the first edition distributed in 2023 and tailored for each member.
In his address, Dr. Afolayan acknowledged the support of key figures, including Grand Patron Chief Wole Olanipekun, CFR, SAN, Patroness HRH Olori (Princess) Olufunmilayo Nejo-Oluyede, and the Attorney General of Ekiti State, Mr. Adedayo Toba Apata, SAN. He expressed gratitude to all members, past Chairmen and Secretaries, elders, leaders, and executives for their continuous support.
NBA Ikere-Ekiti Branch, although the youngest in Ekiti State, has exhibited remarkable growth since its inauguration in 2012. Dr. Afolayan emphasized the Branch’s commitment to its members and the legal community, describing it as a trailblazer and the primary platform for bar activities in line with the NBA’s national purpose.
The Chairman reiterated his dedication to the promises outlined in the manifestoes upon which he was elected. He emphasized the importance of the Lawyers’ Diary as a comprehensive tool and encouraged members to use it effectively, recognizing that record-keeping is a hallmark of practical lawyering skills.
Anthony Adelusi, a member of the NBA Ikere-Ekiti Branch and the Financial Secretary of the Young Lawyers Forum, expressed his appreciation for the Diary, emphasizing that such thoughtful gestures are uniquely characteristic of the NBA Ikere-Ekiti Branch—a branch to beat.
This distribution of the 2024 Lawyers’ Diary underscores the commitment of the NBA Ikere-Ekiti Branch to its members’ professional development and support, further solidifying its reputation as a dynamic and progressive legal community.

Kindly be reminded that the Bar Practicing Fee (BPF) for the year 2024 will be payable from January 1, 2024, to March 31, 2024, as stipulated in Section 9(1) of the Legal Practitioners Act.
