Lagos Police Commissioner to Provide Update on Mohbad's Death Investigation

The Commissioner of Police for the Lagos State Police Command, Idowu Owohunwa, is set to provide a fresh update on the ongoing investigation into the death of Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad. The update is scheduled for today, Friday.

The press briefing is slated to take place at 3 p.m. at the Command Headquarters in Ikeja, where Commissioner Owohunwa will share the latest developments in the case. This update is expected to include information on the number of individuals arrested and invited for questioning concerning the investigation.

Recall that on September 18, the Lagos police established a special 13-member investigative team to investigate the circumstances surrounding the singer’s death. The police have been determined to uncover all those involved in the case.

As part of the investigation, the late singer’s body, who passed away on September 12, was exhumed on September 21 for a forensic autopsy.

Additionally, several individuals, including Naira Marley, Sam Larry, Prime Boy, and others, have been arrested by the police for interrogation as part of their ongoing investigation into the matter.

Mohbad’s untimely death at the age of 27 has prompted numerous fans and supporters to demand justice, with many taking to the streets to call for justice in his case.
