Urgent Notice: Beware of BPF Payment Scam

Dear Distinguished Colleagues,

The National Executive Committee has learned that specific individuals are posing as NBA help desk officers on Instagram and other social media platforms, falsely advising or requesting members to make direct payments of the Bar Practicing Fee (BPF) to unauthorized accounts or through fraudulent links.

Notably, one of the fraudulent contact numbers reported is +234 810 820 8068.

Please note that the sole official BPF payment channel is the NBA Portal: https://portal.nigerianbar.org.ng/login. We strongly advise against making direct payments to unauthorized accounts or through links other than the official NBA portal.

Furthermore, to ensure efficient service delivery to all our esteemed members requiring access to the Secretariat, the Bar Services Department will be open tomorrow (Friday, March 29, 2024) to provide necessary assistance.
