Papal Knighthood Conferred on Justice John Termba Tsoho, Chief Judge of the Federal High Court of Nigeria

In a solemn ceremony held at the St. John the Baptist Cathedral in Gboko, Benue State, on Saturday, December 30, 2023, the Catholic Diocese of Gboko bestowed the esteemed Papal Knighthood on the Honourable Justice John Termba Tsoho, Chief Judge of the Federal High Court of Nigeria, and several other distinguished individuals.

The Legal Attorney Blog reports that the Episcopal Mass, a pivotal component of the conferment event, was officiated by His Excellency, the Most Reverend William Amove Avenya, the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Gboko. Other eminent Bishops from neighbouring Dioceses joined him, creating an atmosphere of spiritual reverence and cultural significance.

The ceremony, conducted in the rich Tiv language, marked a momentous occasion as the Papal Knighthood was conferred, recognizing the exemplary service, dedication, and contributions of Chief Judge Tsoho and his fellow honorees. The honour granted by the Catholic Church signifies a high level of commitment to both faith and community.
