Abdulsalami: Accept The Outcome Of The Governorship And State Assembly Elections.

Former Head of State General Abdulsalami Abubakar has asked Nigerians to accept the outcome of the Governorship and State House of Assembly elections if they deem it free, fair and transparent.

After casting his vote at the Hilltop polling unit in Minna Niger state, he stated this.

General Abdulsalami Abubakar maintained that this is because no meaningful development could be achieved in an atmosphere of rancour and advised Nigerians to embrace and keep the peace.

The former Head of State would also want Nigerians to use their vote power to elect credible leaders to enhance good governance.

General Abdulsalami Abubakar commended the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC for making the election seamless. He said it didn’t take him more than a minute to be identified and give his card to vote.

He expressed happiness over the peaceful nature of the electorates conducted themselves during the election.
