Ekiti Assembly Election Witness Low Turn Out Of Voters.

There is a low turnout of voters in most polling units as aa accreditation, and voting is on the Ekiti state House of Assembly election across the twenty six constituencies in the state.

At 8:30 a.m., only a few electorates were seen exercising their franchise in all the voting points visited while INEC officials were still waiting for voters in some areas.

Some commercial motorcyclists and tricycle operators were working in the state capital, while few vehicles were also moving in significant areas like Aa jilosun, Oke Ila, and Ilawe Road, all in Ado Ekiti, the state capital.

At Oke Aand so, Igboaso Farmstead polling unit 003, ward 13, Ado Ekiti, INEC officials are waiting for others to tune out.

The Presiding Officer said out of 288 registered voters in the team, about fifty people have come out to cast their votes when filling this report while waiting for other legible voters.

In most areas visited, the INEC officials maintained that the people’s turn was abysmal compared to the just concluded presidential Elections.
