Lagos State Ministry of Justice holds Brief-Writing Training

Lawyers from the Lagos State Ministry of Justice convened for a comprehensive brief-writing training workshop held from February 14th to 15th, 2024, at The Colossus in Ikeja, Lagos.

Dubbed the Brief-Writing Master Plan, the workshop was expertly facilitated by The Write House. The event commenced with an address by the Honorable Attorney General of Lagos State, Mr Lawal Pedro SAN, who underscored the significance and utility of the training for the lawyers within the Ministry of Justice.

Mrs Titilayo Shitta-Bey-Jeje, the Solicitor General of Lagos State and Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Justice, added further gravitas to the event.

The Brief-Writing Master Plan workshop allowed lawyers to continually enhance their legal and brief-writing skills, emphasizing the commitment to continuous learning and professional development within the legal community.

Expressing their gratitude, the participating lawyers commended the Honorable Attorney General and other leaders from the Ministry of Justice for their unwavering support. Their active involvement in the workshop reaffirmed the Lagos State Government’s dedication to prioritizing the career advancement of its legal practitioners.

Feedback from the lawyers who partook in the training was overwhelmingly positive, with participants lauding the workshop as highly beneficial, relevant, and timely.
