Special Adviser Dismisses Fictional Claims About Senate President’s Birthday Funding
Hon. Eseme Eyiboh, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, CON, has vehemently refuted the recent claims made by Mr. Jackson Ude regarding plans for the Senate President’s birthday celebration.
Eyiboh challenged Ude’s assertion that the birthday funding is sourced from the Senate and government agencies, urging Ude to provide evidence for such allegations or face legal consequences for damaging the reputations of respected individuals. Eyiboh emphasized that being a fugitive would not shield Ude from the consequences of serial blackmail.

Eyiboh, who plays a pivotal role in coordinating the birthday celebration, clarified that it is a private initiative organized by friends and associates of the Senate President. He emphasized that Ude, not being a friend or associate, could not have accurate information about this yearly celebration of solidarity and brotherhood for Senator Akpabio.
In Eyiboh’s words, “Mr Ude, who is certainly not a friend nor an associate of the President of the Senate, has concocted imaginations that extend the bounds of fantasy to apparently buttress his ranking in fiction writing.”
Eyiboh expressed regret that Ude, in pushing his story about the birthday plans, breached the personal confidentiality of some of the friends of Senator Akpabio, describing it as a regrettable act of indiscretion that involves the character assassination of the Senate President and his close associates.
“As one of the friends deeply associated with the plans of the birthday, I affirm that the assertions of Ude, including the tale of mopping funds from the Senate for the birthday, are a cocktail of fabricated lies for which no serious person should pay attention to,” Eyiboh declared.
He called on individuals of sound reasoning to disregard what he described as the frivolous claims made by Mr Ude, emphasizing that these allegations are intended to distract from the genuine plans to celebrate Senator Akpabio, an extraordinary man of destiny.
