The lifeless body of Otuene Nkang, a 300-level biological chemistry student at the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, was tragically discovered in her partner’s apartment, with reports suggesting that some of her vital organs were missing.
The 20-year-old student, hailing from Agana in the Andoni local government area of Rivers State, had been reported missing since Monday, following the conclusion of her duties at a medical facility where she was undergoing her industrial training.
Disturbing online videos depicted the gruesome scene, revealing Nkang’s body wrapped in transparent disposal nylon at her partner’s residence.
According to sources, the alleged partner had attempted to dispose of the remains by placing them in a wheelbarrow before being apprehended by security guards in the residential area.
The Rivers State Command authorities are scheduled to provide further details during a press briefing planned for Thursday, shedding light on the ongoing investigation into this horrific incident.
