NBA President Extends Congratulations to Newly Designated Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SANs)
The President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Mr. Yakubu Chonoko Maikyau, OON, SAN, extended his felicitations to Nigeria’s newly confirmed Senior Advocates, including all the legal practitioners and the single academic. The Legal Practitioners Privileges Committee (LPPC) approved the confirmations on October 12, 2023.

Mr. Maikyau has also commended the LPPC under the chairmanship of the Honourable Chief Justice of Nigeria, Hon. Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, GCON, for the thorough and painstaking consideration of all applications and determination of the successful applicants for the year 2003.
The President of the NBA emphasized that the Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) designation is a perpetual reminder to all legal practitioners that perseverance and dedication yield fruitful results. He encouraged the newly appointed SANs to acknowledge their roles as leaders within the legal profession and recognize the substantial expectations now placed upon them by both the profession and society.
