NBA PRESIDENT COMMISERATES WITH IKEJA BRANCH ON THE DEMISE OF FORMER CHAIRMAN, MR YINKA FAROUNBI

The President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Mr. Yakubu Chonoko Maikyau, OON, SAN, has conveyed his profound dismay and sorrow following the passing of Mr. Yinka Farounbi, the former Chairman of the NBA Ikeja Branch.

The NBA President described Mr Farounbi as a distinguished bar-man and a complete gentleman well respected by many who came across him. While recalling late Farounbi’s amiable personality, Mr. Maikyau said he struck a friendship with him at their first-ever meeting. He noted that Mr. Farounbi’s death was a massive loss to his family and the legal profession.

The President extended his heartfelt prayers, beseeching the Almighty to provide solace to the bereaved family and companions of Mr Farounbi and the strength to cope with the irreplaceable void left by his passing.
