Nigeria Police to Conduct Thorough Investigation into Mohbad’s Mysterious Death

The Nigeria Police Force has announced its commitment to launch a comprehensive investigation into the perplexing circumstances surrounding the demise of the budding music talent Ilerioluwa Aloba, widely known as Mohbad. The rising music star tragically passed away at a Lagos hospital on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, and was subsequently laid to rest in the Ikorodu region of the state.

A flurry of conspiracy theories has emerged in the wake of his untimely death, particularly on social media platforms. Speculations abound, including claims of a possible confrontation between the deceased and his former record label, Marlian Records, owned by the controversial artist Naira Marley.

“Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family, friends, and fans of the late Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, known as Mohbad, who recently passed away. We understand the concerns regarding his untimely demise,” stated Olumuyiwa Adejobi.

He continued, “The Nigeria Police Force is committed to thoroughly investigating this matter. The Lagos State Commissioner of Police has been tasked with unravelling his tragic death’s circumstances. Rest assured, updates will be provided as the investigations unfold.”

Adejobi also appealed to individuals who may possess pertinent information related to the case, urging them to cooperate with the Lagos State Commissioner of Police in the interest of justice. In the interim, he requested that all parties refrain from making statements or engaging in activities that could compromise the ongoing investigation, emphasizing the importance of trust and support in this process.
