CASES OF BANDITRY REDUCED DRASTICALLY: GOV BELLO.
Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger state has said that despite the reduction of cases of banditry in parts of the state, there is a need for Nigerlites to redouble efforts in praying for an end to such an ugly trend.
The Governor spoke in an interview with Newsmen in Suleja local government council of the state as part of activities for the celebration of Eid el Fitr.

Alh Abubakar Sani Bello expressed satisfaction that cases of banditry in Niger state have drastically reduced compared to what was obtained a few months ago and attributed the successes recorded to prayers and synergy existing between the security agencies fighting an insurgency.
He, however, thanked the people of Niger State for all the support given to him during his tenure as Governor.
He hoped that a similar gesture be extended to the new Governor-elect, Umar Mohammed Bago, to enable him to succeed.
Alh Abubakar Sani Bello maintained that moving Niger state to greater heights required collective efforts and sacrifice by all and sundry to achieve the desired objective.
