Obi Commends Chief Onyema for Airlifting Stranded Nigerians in Sudan
The Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi, has appreciated the kind gesture of the Airpeace Chairman, Chief Allen Onyema, in responding to the distress call of stranded Nigerians in war-torn Sudan.
Mr Obi, in a message to Chief Onyema, said Chief Oyema’s gracious altruism in helping to airlift distressed and stranded Nigerians from war-torn Sudan was an act of patriotism.

The LP standards explained that Chief Onyema’s consistent efforts in promoting national interest and cohesion are exemplary. He said such selflessness speaks to the need for greater unity and being our brother’s keeper irrespective of the nation’s ethnoreligious diversity.
The former Anambra state government stated that the various noble gestures of Chief Onyema would serve as instructive lessons to people and that acts of nation-building by patriotic citizens come in different strands.
