Taraba Reps Member-Elect, Maihanchi Dies

The member-elect representing Jalingo, Yerro, and Zing Federal Constituency in the National Assembly from Taraba State, Hon. Isma’ila Yusha’u Maihanchi, is dead.

A friend of the deceased who confirmed the death told our Correspondent that Maihanchi died in the early hours of Saturday morning in Abuja after a brief illness. He died at 37 and was survived by a wife, son, and parents.

Taraba Reps Member-Elect, Maihanchi Dies

The October 22, 1986, born politician and businessman was elected in the just-held general elections under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

The deceased unseated the incumbent House of Representatives member, Hon. Kasimu Maigari, who was elected in 2019.

Our Correspondent observed that many people received the news of the death of the young Politician and philanthropist with shock.
