Adama Mohammed, Contrasts Between FIDA And NBAWF

The chairperson of NBAWF LOC for the 2023 conference encourages young lawyers to register. The Nigerian Bar Association Women Forum Elder, who also doubles as the local organizing committee chairperson for the 2023 annual general conference, was present at the recently held FIDA Nigeria monthly public meeting in Abuja.

Whilst celebrating Women on the Occasion of International Women’s Day (IWD), Mrs Mohammed spoke extensively on behalf of the NBA Women Forum & CPC Leadership by imploring Members to Register massively and make the forthcoming Annual Conference in Abuja a fantastic experience.

Members were so excited and fascinated & started Registering on the spot for the conference.

Furthermore, several questions were directed to the organizing chairperson regarding the slated conference venue. At the same time she responded to those questions, a young lawyer who chose to remain anonymous asked the difference between NBA Women’s Forum & FIDA.

Adama Mohammed replied succinctly that FIDA is an “Organization of women lawyers in 36 states of Nigeria with a mandate to promote, protect and preserve the rights of woman and children in Nigeria.”

The NBA Women Forum, an arm of the Nigerian Bar Association, is a Forum of Female Lawyers committed to the well-being of women globally.

She further posited that the NBAWF is dedicated to its passion for empowering, inspiring and supporting female lawyers in Nigeria. Adama encouraged all female lawyers in Nigeria to be part of the NBAWF activities as the Forum is a representative of female lawyers across the board; she charged all female lawyers to be part of the change they want to see.
