KOGI: Jerry Omodara urges Igun residents to embrace peace.

Light Up Igun Community. The Chief Security Adviser to Kogi State Governor Commander Jerry Omodar, a retired, has urged the residents of Igun to continue to live in peace and show love to one another, which the Community has known to enhance the social and economic development of the area. He called at the project’s inauguration” Light Up Igun Community”.

Commander Omodara said all hands must be on deck to maintain the project for maximum impact. He noted that the project resulted from his promise to the people of his community to light up Igun town in 2022.

Commander Omodara promised to take over the medical bills of a 6years boy, Attahiru, who was billed to undergo surgery to correct a defect in one of his ears, assuring them to partner with the Government of Governor Yahaya Bello to establish a primary school in Igun Community due to the rising population in the area.

He appealed to the Community to vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Assembly Candidate Seyi Bello to deliver quality representation in the 18th state House of Assembly elections.

In a remark, the Community leader, Mallam Isiaka Ibrahim, appreciated CDR Omodara’s sterling performance and immense contributions to Governor Yahaya Bello-led administration’s success story, stressing his impactful leadership as a security adviser and grassroots politician will always be remembered.

Also, A woman Leader in the Community, Mrs. Safu Yahaya, commended the Security Adviser for his continuous support, especially in providing amenities, such as foodstuff donations. Agricultural inputs to boost their farming work and financial empowerment, among others, assuring him that the Community will continue to support his vision and dreams for the Community and the State at large.

The Security adviser to Governor Bello was accompanied by some party stalwarts, including Elder Gideon. American, Pastor Lawrence Obayomi, the youth leader, Mr Micah Alehile, among other stakeholders.
