Over 1000 Abuja women and youths defect to the ruling All Progressives Congress.

Ahead of Saturday’s General election, no fewer than 1000 women and children from the main opposition

parties, Peoples Democratic Party and labour party, have defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress

in FCT.

Receiving the defectors on Wednesday in Abuja, the National Coordinator of a group under the auspices

of National Mass Movement for better Orientation Known as “NAMBO 4 ASHIWAJU/SHETTIMA.”

Dr Hawa Iyatu Bagu said the defection of the new members from other political parties to APC

would enhance the party’s victory.

According to Dr Hauwa, the organization was working assiduously towards the emergence of Tinubu as

next president of Nigeria, She maintains that the group has been galvanizing support which will culminate

into their candidate winning the 2023 presidential election.

Ahead of Saturday’s Election, FCT women and youths defect to APC.

While congratulating the new members of the APC for their decision, assured them of fairness and equal

treatment with old members, the National Coordinator National Mass Movement for better Orientation

Known as “NAMBO 4 ASHIWAJU/SHETTIMA”, described Ashiwaju Tinubu is experienced and competent

a politician who can take over from President Muhammadu Buhari and fulfil the expectations of Nigerians.

The Defectors were led by some Women Leaders of the main opposition parties, LP and PDP, in the

country, Mr Ayuba livanus, Mrs Debora Titus and Titus Musa From AMAC in FCT said them and their

supporters were convinced and trusted the APC as a party, given Bola Tinubu’s achievements when he

was a governor of Lagos State and promised to ensure a resounding victory for the Tinubu/Shettima ticket

and other APC candidates for sustainable development.

They also promised to defend their votes during the Saturday polls in all their polling units in FCT.
