NBA Ikere-Ekiti Branch Inaugurates 2024 Annual Law Week Committee and Adopts Branch Motto

The Nigerian Bar Association, Ikere-Ekiti Branch, convened its Statutory Monthly Meeting on February 13th, 2024, at the Chief Wole Olanipekun, SAN Bar Centre, University Road, Ikere-Ekiti. Chaired by the Branch Chairman, Asiwaju Dr Michael Afolayan, the meeting marked a significant moment as the 2024 Annual Law Week Committee was inaugurated, and the Branch Motto, “Fountain Bar,” was officially adopted.

The following members were appointed and inaugurated to organize the 2024 Law Week scheduled for the third week of May 2024:

Mr. Babasoji Awe (Chairman)
Mrs. Modupe Aina-Alufa (Co-Chairperson)
Hon. Ayo Daramola (Secretary)
Mrs. Sandra Elliott
Miss Eunice Adeleke
All Members of the NBA Ikere Branch Executive

The decision to adopt “Fountain Bar” as the Branch Motto was reached unanimously during the meeting, signifying a collective embrace of a symbol that reflects the branch’s ethos and aspirations.

The NBA Ikere-Ekiti Branch looks forward to the diligent efforts of the newly inaugurated committee in planning a successful and impactful Law Week in May 2024, guided by the spirit encapsulated in the motto, “Fountain Bar.”
