Afam Osigwe, SAN, Joins Legal Luminaries at Special Court Session in Honour of Dr. Kolawole Shola Okeaya-Inneh, SAN

Benin City, Edo State – January 26, 2024

In a display of solidarity and respect, Afam Osigwe, SAN, a distinguished legal practitioner, lent his presence to the esteemed assembly at the special court session held on January 26, 2024, in Benin. The ceremony unfolded at the Ceremonial Court of the High Court of Edo State, serving as a solemn tribute dedicated to the late Dr. Kolawole Shola Okeaya-Inneh, SAN.

Dr. Kolawole Shola Okeaya-Inneh, affectionately remembered as the father of Honourable Justice Joy Oghogho Okeaya-Inneh, Ade Okeaya-Inneh SAN, OSAHON Okeaya-Inneh Esq, and others, received a heartfelt homage from a gathering of eminent legal personalities.

The special court session, presided over by Chief Judge Hon. Justice D.I Okungbowa, witnessed the participation of notable dignitaries, including retired Hon. Justice Samson O. Uwaifo, JSC, judges of the High Court of Edo State, Court of Appeal Justices, NBA President YC Maikyau, SAN, Augustine Alegeh SAN (past President of NBA), Chief Solomon Asemita SAN, Chief Charles Edosomwan SAN, Ighodalo Imadegbello SAN, and many other Senior Advocates of Nigeria, Benchers, and lawyers. Oluwole Osaze Uzzi, the Attorney General of Edo State, also graced the occasion.

Afam Osigwe, SAN, among this distinguished gathering, paid his respects alongside the legal luminaries and family members of Dr. Kolawole Shola Okeaya-Inneh. The session served as a poignant moment to celebrate the life and contributions of the late legal luminary.

The children and other family members of Dr. Kolawole Shola Okeaya-Inneh were also in attendance, adding a personal touch to the solemn proceedings.
