Appreciation for Your Support in the Commonwealth Lawyers Association Council Election

Dear Learned Colleague/Silk,

I trust this message finds you well.

I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for the unwavering support you extended to me during my pursuit of representing Nigeria at the Commonwealth Lawyers Association Council.

Regrettably, the election outcome did not align with our hopes, as I was unsuccessful at the poll. The final tally showed that I garnered 42% of the votes against the 58% secured by the winner, Joyce Oduah.

I have already congratulated Joyce Oduah, and I genuinely hope for the best during her tenure. Nevertheless, it would be remiss of me not to express my sincere appreciation to you for believing in me and casting your valuable vote in my favour. Your support has not gone unnoticed, and I want to assure you that I do not take it for granted.

Once again, thank you for standing by me throughout this endeavour. Your support has been a source of encouragement, and I am truly grateful.
