DStv and GOtv Increase Subscription Prices for Third Time in 2023 Amid Economic Hardship

MultiChoice Nigeria, the parent company of DStv and GOtv, has announced its third upward review of subscription prices in 2023.

The increase, which takes effect from November 6, will see GOtv’s highest subscription price rise from N10,500 to N12,500 for the Supa+ package, while DStv’s premium subscribers will pay N29,500 instead of the previous N24,500.

The latest increase comes amid economic hardship caused by fuel subsidy removal and the weakening value of Nigeria’s currency.

This is not the first time MultiChoice has increased its bouquet prices, having done so in May and earlier in the year.
