Chicago State University Affirms Validity of Tinubu’s INEC-Submitted Certificate

Chicago State University (CSU) has officially confirmed the authenticity of the diploma certificate submitted by President Bola Tinubu to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). In a sworn affidavit, the university unequivocally validated both the diploma certificate and the certified true copy.
Validation of Diplomas
In the affidavit presented to a Chicago court, CSU stated, “Chicago State University provided a Diploma to Bola Ahmed Tinubu and subsequently provided a certified copy of that Diploma. Both are valid and authentic Diplomas of Chicago State University.”

Addressing Discrepancies
Addressing the differences between the diploma certificate and the certified true copy, the affidavit attributed these variations to having all diplomas signed by the current president or board chair. Furthermore, differences in font and seal were clarified as updates made by the university after the initial diploma issuance.
Explanation for Date Discrepancies
Explaining the disparities in dates, CSU attributed them to human error, emphasizing that graduation dates on certified true copies are manually entered and may occasionally be inaccurate. The document also highlighted the common perception in American higher education that diplomas hold ceremonial significance.
APC Criticizes Atiku’s Pursuit of President Tinubu’s Academic Records
In conclusion, in an affidavit presented by its Registrar, Caleb Westberg, CSU affirmed that its records incontrovertibly establish Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s graduation from the institution and the awarding of a degree.
