Tribunal Decision Declares Victory for Democracy: Buhari Acknowledges People’s Triumph.

The former President, Muhammadu Buhari, has expressed his satisfaction with the recent ruling by the Presidential Election Petitions Court (PEPC), which was issued on Wednesday evening. This ruling reaffirmed the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its candidates, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima, in the election held on February 25.

In a statement released by his media aide, Garba Shehu, the former President, commended the PEPC for what he described as a historic decision. He noted that the court demonstrated impartiality and upheld the principles of justice, regardless of external pressures or biases. He emphasized the importance of respecting the choices made by most citizens, emphasizing that democracy and the people were the true winners in this verdict.

President Buhari underscored the need to move forward now that the Supreme Court has issued its final ruling, urging everyone to set aside any lingering disputes or controversies. He called for unity and support for the incoming APC administration led by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, encouraging them to fulfil the promises made to the people during the campaign.

Furthermore, the former President thanked the citizens for maintaining peace and order throughout the election period.
