Dino Melaye Encourages Supporters to Vote Without Fear in Upcoming Kogi Governorship Election

As the preparations gain momentum for the upcoming gubernatorial polls scheduled for November 11, Dino Melaye, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kogi State, has called upon his supporters to cast their votes without any apprehension.

Melaye, the PDP flag bearer in Kogi, has made a resolute commitment to clinch victory in the election, assuring his supporters that they should not be deterred by any alleged fears or intimidation stemming from the administration of Governor Yahaya Bello.

During a gathering in Egume, Dekina local government, where he met with PDP leaders from the Kogi East senatorial district, Melaye emphasized, “We will win this election by conquering the fears and intimidation of Governor Yahaya Bello’s administration.”

The meeting in Egume saw Melaye warmly received by notable figures, including former Minister of Police Affairs, Barrister Humphrey Abba, former Kogi PDP Chairman, John Odawn, and former commissioner Mrs Ruth Eke Iyaji, among other prominent leaders from the Kogi East region.

Melaye’s campaign, as highlighted by the Kogi PDP Governorship Campaign Organisation, is centred on a collaborative effort with the people of Kogi to liberate the state from the shackles of underdevelopment. He pledges to be a servant leader dedicated to promoting good governance.

In a call to action, Melaye urged Kogites to vote for the PDP without hesitation in the November 11, 2023, gubernatorial election, emphasizing the undeniable credentials and unwavering commitment he brings to the table in his bid to steer Kogi towards positive change and progress.
