Transforming Healthcare: Collaborative Efforts of Moses Lake Medical Team, the Medicaid Cancer Foundation and the Nigerian Bar Association

We are nearing the conclusion of our collaborative medical outreach program, a joint effort involving the Moses Lake Medical Team, the Medicaid Cancer Foundation, and the Nigerian Bar Association, led by President Y. C. Maikyau, OON, SAN. The program is under the diligent oversight of the National Welfare Committee, guided by Emeka Ozoani, SAN.

We are delighted to report that, as of yesterday, our dedicated team has provided care to more than 12,000 patients and performed approximately 200 surgical procedures, including Cesarean sections, fibroid removal, and lump removal. Today, we have treated over 14,000 patients and completed nearly 300 surgical operations. We continue to dispense a wide range of medications and conduct essential tests, all without any cost to the beneficiaries. One remarkable moment to highlight is the gracious assistance provided by our medical team in delivering a set of twins for one of our beneficiaries, completely free of charge.

Our medical outreach program is scheduled to conclude on September 7, 2023, to extend our support to an additional 1,500 beneficiaries.
