UK-based Nigerian doctor loses custody of 16-year-old son to Govt. over flogging.
The UK government reportedly takes custody of a 16-year-old teenager after reports of him being flogged by his doctor’s father.
According to reports, the adolescent had formed a study group with two friends at his father’s house to prepare for their exams.
According to the father, the trio was caught watching an inappropriate video instead of studying for their GCSE exams.
The father was said to have flogged his son in front of his two friends, who then called the cops and had him arrested.
According to the boy’s testimony, his father frequently flogged him for his persistence in studying hard to become a medical doctor like him.
However, UK’s Courts and Tribunal Hearings took custody of their child until he turned 18. Reactions trailing doctor who lost son’s control over flogging.
