The Independent National Electoral Commission has declared Mr Victor Nwoke of the People’s Democratic Party as the Abakaliki North State Constituency Election winner.
Declaring the result in Abakaliki, the Collation Officer, Professor Smart Otu, explained that Mr. Nwoke polled five thousand nine hundred and eighty-eight votes to defeat his closest rival, Mr. Maxwell Umahi of the All Progressives Congress, got five a six hundred sixty-four.

The declaration followed the final Collation of results after the conduct of the Supplementary Election in some polling units in the Constituency.
Similarly, the Independent National Electoral Commission has declared Chief Kingsley Ikoro of the All Progressives Congress, the House of Assembly Election winner, conducted in Afikpo North West State Constituency.
The Collation Officer, Professor Omaka Omaka, explained that Chief Ikoro, the serving Deputy.
The speaker of the House secured five thousand twelve votes to defeat Mr. Oko Enyim, who garnered four thousand fifty-nine votes.
The winner was declared at Akpuoha Central School, which served as the Collation Center.
