The International Women’s Day event is scheduled for the 30th – 31st of March 2023 in Abuja, Nigeria.

The Nigerian Bar Association Women Forum (“NBAWF”) writes to cordially invite you to our flagship 3rd Annual General Conference (AGC), 2023 & International Women’s Day event, scheduled to hold on the 30th – 31st March 2023, in Abuja, Nigeria.

The NBAWF is an arm of the Nigerian Bar Association, constitutionally established to address matters affecting the well-being of the Nigerian female lawyer. We aim to empower female lawyers for success by identifying and providing innovative solutions to critical issues that affect us.

We achieve this through advocacy, mentorship, workshops and conferences on gender issues, leadership, personal development, career growth, and work-life balance, to mention a few.

In line with our mandate and in tandem with this year’s International Women’s Day celebration, the NBAWF AGC will be a two-day hybrid conference themed “Tech Her In Innovating for Gender Equity”.

The thinking is that through the innovative use of technology, female lawyers will be better

positioned to overcome the stereotypical biases that hold them back in their careers.
