Heavy security presence at the INEC office in yaba.
There is a severe security presence at the Lagos office of the Independent National Electoral Commission,
INEC, in Yaba.
Men of the Nigerian Army, Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, the Police, and the Federal Fire Service are stationed outside the premises and on the street in the Alagomeji area of Yaba.
The area is, however, peaceful.
Meanwhile, voting has been smooth at the five polling units on the same street as the INEC office.
Although there have been reports of the lateness of voting materials in some parts of the state, the INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner, Mr Olusegun Agbaje, has not briefed journalists on the situation.
