The US has provided 25 million dollars to support Nigeria’s Election: USAID.
The Assistant Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development USAID,
Dr Monde Muyangwa says the US has provided 25 million dollars in assistance for elections in
Nigeria. She stated this in Abuja during a media conference.
Election: USAID supports Nigeria with $25 million
Dr Muyangwa said the 2023 election allowed citizens to shape the country’s future and Nigeria
to solidify its position as a democratic leader in Africa. She said that based on her meetings with UNEC
and Civil Society Organizations, she was happy that they are all working to ensure the inclusion
of marginalised groups, including people with Disabilities.

to uphold their commitment to ensuring peaceful and inclusive polls with fundamental freedoms of
expression, association and assembly fully respected.
Mr Mbeki, the Chairperson of the 2023 commonwealth observer group, made the call in Abuja at the
arrival briefing of the election observation group.
