Four Nasarawa University Students Abducted by Unidentified Gunmen"

Unidentified gunmen have abducted four students from Nasarawa State University, Keffi, in a shocking incident in Angwan Kare, Keffi Local Government Area.

The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ramhan Nansel, confirmed this distressing incident during a telephone conversation with Channels Television. According to Nansel, the State Police Command received an alarming call in the early hours of Tuesday, reporting an attack by armed men on a house in Angwan Kare.

Nansel stated, “The command is aware of kidnapping at about 12:55 am as a distress call was received that a house located at Angwan Kaare, Keffi, was invaded by unidentified armed men.”

Despite immediate efforts by law enforcement authorities, including collaboration with the military, the search for the perpetrators in the area yielded no success. However, Nansel assured that a comprehensive manhunt had been launched to rescue the abducted students unharmed.

“The Commissioner of Police has ordered a manhunt for the culprits to rescue the victims unhurt,” Nansel emphasized.

The four victims are all first-year students of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, identified as Rahila Hanya (Science Laboratory Technology), Josephine Gersho (Computer Science), Rosemary Samuel (Business Administration), and Goodness Samuel (Geography).

This incident has raised concerns and underscores the importance of security measures to protect the region’s educational institutions and students’ lives.
