Timi Frank Criticizes Tinubu's Efforts to Prevent Release of Academic Records

Comrade Timi Frank, a former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has criticized President Bola Tinubu’s efforts to prevent the release of his academic records from Chicago State University (CSU). Frank described this move as an embarrassment to Nigerians.

Tinubu had requested a United States judge to delay an order directing the release of his university records to former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, claiming that he would suffer “severe and irreparable damage” if the order was not postponed.

In response, Frank questioned why Tinubu was fighting to prevent the release of his academic records if he had nothing to hide. He called on Nigerians to join Atiku in demanding the release of the documents, emphasizing that this issue should not be limited to one individual.

Frank stated that Tinubu’s desperate attempts to delay the release of his academic records were embarrassing to Nigerians, both at home and abroad. He urged Tinubu to stop damaging the country’s image by concealing his academic journals, as transparency is essential for attracting trustworthy partners and investors.
