The security personnel, who were fully armed, tried hiding their faces as the Speaker’s entourage surrounded them and filmed.

Someone in the background could be heard explaining how the Police are fund of collecting money from youths in the state through bank transfers, but their act was busted on that particular day.

Egbedun, who was evidently angry, also told people in his entourage to ensure that they recorded every policeman on the team so they could be exposed.

Reacting to the development, The Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, revealed via his Twitter account on Friday that the affected police officers have been arrested, other necessary action would be taken, and updates provided later.

The Force PRO reiterated that the Police have zero tolerance for extortion and corruption.

He wrote: “The Commissioner of Police Osun State, CP Kehinde Longe, has acted on this. The officers have been arrested, and necessary action will be taken. The PPRO osun has been ordered to update us on the actions taken. We have zero tolerance for extortion and corruption in general.”
