According to him, the agency received a distress call on Wednesday morning at about 05:23 a.m. from Aliyu Alkasim about a fire outbreak at Kurmi market. He highlighted that a rescue team was immediately mobilized to the scene, where they succeeded in quenching the fire.

” 6 permanent and 74 temporary shops were completely razed by the fire” Saminu maintained that no life or casualties were recorded during the unfortunate incident. However, he said the fire’s cause is still under investigation. He advised traders to switch off all electrical appliances, disconnect from the source when unused, and avoid careless use of naked fire.
