INEC set for Governorship and State Assembly elections.
The elections will hold this Saturday, 11th of March 2023.
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has assured Nigerians that the processes
and procedures for the Governorship and State House of Assembly elections are being finalised
for Saturday 11th.

A statement by the National Commissioner and Chairman of Information and Voter Education
Committee, Mr Festus Okoye, states that the Commission will also conduct the re-scheduled
elections in Enugu East Senatorial District and Esan Central/Esan West and Igueben Federal
Constituencies in the Edo States on Saturday, 11th of this month, along with the Governorship
and State Assembly elections.

It says that the Commission is aware that in some Senatorial Districts and Federal Constituencies,
Declarations and Returns were not made, and the Commission is compiling a list of the
affected constituencies. It added that a date for supplementary elections will be fixed after
the Governorship and State Assembly elections.
