Nemesis grabs up with a Man who steals Used Female pants For Ritual

Police detectives from the Kwara State Command have arrested a man, Olatunji Taiwo, who was allegedly caught with female pants, which he stole with charms he had procured to perform some rituals.

The suspect, Taiwo, was captured with the items by the Police in Ilorin town, who were on routine “stop and search” duty on the road. He was arrested immediately and detained at the station for interrogation.

During interrogation, Taiwo was further searched, and two female pants, alligator pepper, one horn of a ram and some black sand inside nylon were recovered from him.

According to the Police, the suspect later confessed that he stole the pants on a rope at the Eiyenkorin area of Ilorin, where the owner hung them and that he had wanted to use them for ritual purposes before he was captured by the Police on the way.

While in detention, he tried to escape to avoid legal penalty before he was re-arrested and charged before the Ilorin Magistrates Court for conduct likely to cause a breach of public peace and stealing the pants.

Suspect Remanded

During the arraignment, the Court did not take his plea or grant him bail following a motion moved by the prosecutor, Ayeni Gbenga, who informed the Court of the motion ex parte attached to the Police report, asking the Court to grant the remand request contained in the motion.

Accordingly, the Presiding Magistrate, Monisola Kamson, granted the prosecutor’s application and ordered the defendant remanded in custody.
