BREAKING NEWS: Supreme Court Dismisses Peter Obi's Double Nomination Appeal

The Supreme Court has made its final decision, dismissing the petition of the Labour Party and its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, regarding President Bola Tinubu’s election victory based on allegations of double nomination.

According to reports, the Supreme Court concluded its judgment on all petitions challenging the ruling of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, which had previously declared Tinubu as the winner of the February 25th poll conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

Earlier, the Supreme Court, under the leadership of Justice John Okoro, rejected the petitions filed by the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) candidates, including Atiku Abubakar, citing lack of merit as the primary reason for dismissal.

Subsequently, all petitions presented by Obi were also dismissed, as they were deemed to be closely linked to the appeal filed by his PDP counterpart and were consequently lacking in merit. Stay tuned for more detailed updates shortly…
