Tinubu is one of the leading presidential candidates contesting to succeed incumbent

President Muhammadu Buhari. During his campaign, the APC flag bearer had vowed

to win Saturday’s election.

As of 9:50 am, voting was yet to commence at the polling unit as voters waited for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials.

The former governor of Lagos state was also yet to arrive at the venue for accreditation and voting.

The delay in the commencement of voting comes despite INEC’s directive that voting would commence by 8:30 am.
